Can you afford £300?

I can’t, yet thats what I might have to pay for an ID card if the LSE have got their facts right, and they are the LSE after all…
…£300 is a totally outrageous sum to expect the average joe in the street to come up with.
It beggers belief that the government honestly (i know, two words that don’t often go together…) think they will get away with this by saying that it’s in the Interests of National Security
and that if you’ve got nothing to hide whats the problem?
Well I dont have anything to hide, but I sure as hell am not going to pay 300 quid to prove it.
